Aloha to all! Hope that infuses a bit of warmth into your day!

Many things are still being done as we move forward to the 2021 event. However, many things are still uncertain, but we continue to devote time and energy to the preparations and planning. Since the 2020 event is “in limbo”- did we have one or not?? Will 2021 be the 36th or 37th Annual??? – We’ve decided to have a mini 2020 event at the same time as the 2021 event, so we’ll be back on track, annual-wise. We are planning to have half the Specialty Display Building (currently under supervision of “GTX” Dave Renstrom) be 1970 vehicles for the 2020 event, and half be 1971 for the 2021 event. We are planning to contact those that were lined up to be in that building for 2020 and ask them to bring their fine rides for the 2021 dates.

At this time, the buildings at WCF are jam-packed with storage so we cannot plan how many vehicles we can fit in there. We will be using a different building than we had for the 2019 event.

We’ve been gathering information by observing other recent events, regarding spacing and other COVID-19 restrictions and requirements, as well as how their event is presented, pricing, venue and layout, what’s included in goodie bags, voting/ ballots, etc. While we do not ever want to emulate other events, we do need to keep current on what’s happening.
